Build the future of sustainable protein
production in Europe

The SylPlant project aims at building and operating Arbiom’s first plant in France to produce protein-rich ingredients by yeast fermentation for the food and feed markets. This flagship plant will reach an annual production of 10.000 tons of ingredients per year at full capacity to meet the growing demand for natural, high-quality, and sustainable food products in the market. The project brings together 17 European partners spanning the entire food and feed value chain, ranging from feedstocks manufacturers to retailers.

The project will last 36 months from 2023 to 2026, with an overall €14M funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation program and the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU).
